  • Sheraton Hotel Grand Reopening

    The official re–opening of Edinburgh’s 5 Star Sheraton Grand Hotel took place on the 19th April 2012, after 2 years of extensive refurbishment – all of it involving Vaughan Engineering.
  • Manufacture of Corridor Pipework Modules for Maplewood Primary School, Sunderland

    Having secured the order for the M&E services installation at Maplewood Primary School, VEL Newcastle were keen to modularise the corridor distribution heating and plumbing services pipework, along with the electrical basket containment, to minimise on–site installation time and to reduce the likelihood of theft.
  • CEF/Specify Construction Excellence Award

    The Belfast Boys Model project has won the overall CEF/Specify Construction Excellence Award for 2011, through Farrans Construction.
  • Everyman Theatre, Liverpool

    We secured the M&E installation contract with Gilbert Ash to rebuild the new 3–storey £12million Everyman Theatre in Liverpool. This iconic building will house a 400–seater theatre, rehearsal spaces, expanded backstage area, dedicated space for the Everyman Youth Theatre and community groups, a mix of studios, production workshops, changing facilities, administration, offices, technical storage space, front of house, foyer and public areas, cafe, bistro and bar facilities. The new Theatre is due to open its doors in late 2013.
  • RVH 2B - Critical Care Unit: £24 M Mechanical Services

    Works began in August 2009 with McLaughlin & Harvey to build a new 12-storey Critical Care Hospital unit. This world class facility will have an Accident & Emergency Department, Operating Theatre suites, 40 bed Regional Intensive Care Unit with specialised simultaneous source protection rooms, medical records, a new Education Centre, burns department, Gynaecological theatres and wards.
  • DIAGEO Luxury Prize

    Vaughan in Scotland has commenced work on the £900,000 M & E installation at Diageo Leven, Luxury Products Building.
  • The Centre, Livingston

    Vaughan are returning to the Centre, Livingston’s Retail Hub, after 15 years to replace air handling units originally installed by us.
  • Northumbria Police Firearms Training Facility

    Kier North East have favoured Vaughan Newcastle with the order to install M&E services to the new Firearms Training Facility for Northumbria Police
  • New Malmaison, Dundee

    Vaughan Scotland are pleased to have been engaged to design and install the M&E services for the £15 million transformation of Dundee’s Tay Hotel, a listed city centre landmark, into a new 91 bedroom Malmaison Hotel, which is due to open in May 2013.
