Purpose-built for Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust, Bankfields Court is a state of the art inpatient facility, which provides assessment and treatment services for adults with learning disabilities, whose lives are further complicated by associated mental health problems, challenging behaviour or sever epilepsy.
The mechanical and electrical services package, installed by Vaughan Engineering, took full cognisance of patient needs throughout the selection and installation process, ensuring that the end result is a safe environment, including anti-ligature fixtures and fittings, and alarm system sound levels lowered to avoid distress to patients.

The New Community Hospital at Cockermouth is owned by eLIFT Cumbria and provides a wide range of health services available including: Dental Practice, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, a diagnostic suite, minor injuries and minor surgery theatre, an 11 bed inpatient ward and some hospital consultant clinics. The new facility will also be the base for children's community nurses, midwives, health visitors and district nurses.
Vaughan Engineering provide the full range of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing services on a Design and Build basis, ranging from general lighting and small power to specialist gases, ventilation and security systems.

This project involved the relocation and provision of a ten-bed Intensive Treatment Unit within Glasgow Royal Infirmary's Queen Elizabeth Building.
Governed by the constraints of working within a live hospital and the limitations of the existing infrastructure, Vaughan Engineering successfully delivered a modern, fully integrated environment.

The RVH Phase 2B is situated on an existing Hospital site and has a construction value of £130m. This project involves the construction of a new 12-storey Critical Care Centre that has been designed to fit the contour of the existing site with a 2 storey basement, 2 levels of A&E, theatre floor with UCV facilities, 3 floors of critical care with 40 CC beds and 12 isolation rooms, 3 floors of maternity, plant rooms and a helipad at roof level. The construction is reinforced concrete frame enveloped with curtain walling. The mechanical services are circa £26m and was completed in 3 years. The procurement process was PRP, Performance Related Partnering, and Vaughan were engaged with the Design Team through the detailed design right up to the point where we signed the GMP with the Client. We mobilised and started on site 4 months later.
