CRESCENT ARTS CENTRE, BELFAST: £500,000 Mechanical Services, £480,000 Electrical Services
Works are nearing the completion to the refurbishment and extension of the existing four storey Crescent Arts Centre at University Road in Belfast.
This 135 year old listed building in the Queens Conservation Area of Belfast received little maintenance over its lifetime. The £7.2million overhaul of the centre will upgrade the facilities for the local community to accommodate growing demand.
The completed centre will consist of multipurpose areas, galleries, cafe, dressing rooms, workshop areas, dance studio, general amenities and offices. The high quality installation requires the removal of existing services to allow a complete refurbishment and extension to the existing “Arts Centre”.
This project commenced during April 2009 with Gilbert Ash and is due to complete during March 2010.
