QUB, HEALTH SCIENCES BUILDING: £1million Mechanical Services
Vaughan Engineering are delighted to have secured another contract with Queens University Belfast. Works commenced on site in September 2009 with Tracey Brothers to carry out mechanical building services installations to the new Health Sciences Building. This is part of the development of the medical school at the university and is situated within Belfast City Hospital complex.
The new four-storey 4000m2 building comprises office space, meeting rooms, teaching accommodation, generic research labs, equipment areas, research areas. The building will remain occupied throughout the construction works.
White Young Green have produced the innovative services design to this project that is due to complete during August 2010.
