Sheraton Hotel Grand Reopening
The official re–opening of Edinburgh’s 5 Star Sheraton Grand Hotel took place on the 19th April 2012, after 2 years of extensive refurbishment – all of it involving Vaughan Engineering.
Vaughan Engineering successfully completed three separate phases associated with the overall refurbishment of the hotel, comprising;
• Refurbishment of 256 guest rooms, completed in July 2010
• Upgrading of the hotel’s HVAC plant, completed in February 2011, during the worst winter in living memory, awarded on the strength of our performance in the guest rooms
• Public Areas refurbishment, handed over in phases from November 2011 to February 2012, in time for the RBS 6 Nations match with England, whose team traditionally occupy the hotel when in Edinburgh
