Description

LL&TTNPA headquarters was formally opened by Scotland’s Energy Minister, Jim Mather in May of this year. The building design has been nominated for various Architectural awards, and in particular is admired for it’s traditional building techniques, using timber frame, stone walls, slate roof etc.

Internally, the building services are state of the art with an advanced Building Management Systems incorporating heating, ventilation & lighting control.

So efficient are the controls, the building has recently received a very high BREEAM rating.

One of the unusual features of this building is the shallow 'S' curve which coupled with a raised floor sitting on a square grid required some initiative when laying out the containment systems.
