Description

As part of the Project Partnering Contract with Carllion Regional Building we started out with a design and build project for one school, St Brides Primary. This quickly moved onto a second at St Columbkilles under the Council's schools renewal scheme and in the end we completed twelve new build primary's on a design build basis.

We joined up with Aitkins Global M&E to carry out our design development which complemented their architectural practice who were employed by the main contractor.

Whilst the scope of the M&E services remained constant throughout the schools, we found each building to be unique in terms of it's design and this required a fresh approach to be taken when setting out the detail of the services.

The list of schools completed in addition to those mentioned are, St Elizabeths, Chatelherault, Burgh, Cathkin, Law, Glenlee, St John's and Burgh Nursery.
