Forster Green Hospital

Vaughan Engineering Services Ltd secured the M&E services work package with Farrans Construction on 3 concurrent contracts at Forster Green Hospital.

We carried out M&E works to the construction of a new Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient Unit, a 2 storey hospital building with 19 en suite bedrooms catering for mentally ill patients. The development is a secure facility comprising bedrooms, communal areas, waiting and staff areas, reception facilities and plant room.

Vaughan completed the M&E works at the Child and Family Centre, a purpose built building erected at the Forster Green Site, physically connected to the new Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient Unit. We were responsible for coordinating of services throughout building including designing and providing all necessary steelwork supports and brackets associated with the electrical and mechanical installation.

The final stage of the works was to supply M&E services at the Learning Support Centre. The works were carried out in a controlled manner as agreed with the main contractor. We undertook the coordinating of sub–contractors works and programming of works as necessary.
