Description

Vaughan undertook the electrical works to the redevelopment and fit–out of this listed building to provide an improved entrance and reception area, an upgrade to the lift, stairs and landings and a conversion of the third floor into an open plan office space.

The Presbyterian Church of Ireland’s ‘ Church House’ is a three–storey Grade A listed building originally constructed in 1905, being one of Belfast’s best known buildings.

This was a part live building. As we carried out works to the 2nd and 3rd floors, the 1st floor offices remained occupied. Staff were decanted to temporary adjacent building.

As it was a live listed building, the fire alarm, intruder alarm & CCTV had to be monitored closely to ensure no interruption of power. It was vital these were kept running.
