Brankin Engineering Ltd. specialises in the Design, Manufacture and Installation of air conditioning and ventilation ductwork systems. There are two manufacturing facilities situated in Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland and Broxburn, Scotland. Both plants contain the latest manufacturing machinery, controlled with production computer software.
Brankin Engineering was established in 1974 and with expansion has continually invested in new manufacturing machinery, production techniques and the latest CAD drawing systems . This investment has insured it remains one of the UK’s leading HVCA ductwork contractors offering a high service with a quality product.
With the Head Office at Newtownabbey and a Regional office at Broxburn, the local engineering staff control their projects regionally across Scotland the North of England and Ireland. Whilst mainly producing galvanised sheet metal ductwork to the industry standard of DW144 Brankin are also approved manufacturers and installers of BW11 Fire Rated ductwork and the Kingspan Koolduct System.
BW11 Fire Rated Ductwork is constructed from galvanised mild steel manufactured to an enhanced DW144 specification, then degreased and factory sprayed with Flamebar BW11 compound. This is a specially formulated water based compound which when applied to ductwork will give a fire rated certification in accordance with BS 476 Part 24 and ISO 6944.
Koolduct is an innovative pre-insulated ductwork system made from rigid phenolic insulation panels which is lightweight and is installed in a single operation with no lagging required and lightweight supporting system.
